Universal Mechanisms was started in 2012 in a college dorm room. Several engineering students got together and decided to create a robotics kit that they could use in their college labs as well as in their own workshops. They ended up creating the Model R. The Model R met with mild success, but it was enough to keep a few of the founders interested in the possibilities that this company and their talents offered.
Universal Mechanisms has since become a product and business design firm. As such, UniMech has spawned several companies that range from our root robotics businesses to a smart grocery list app.
UniMech loves the possibilities of innovative technology design and the rapid implementation of the ideas the come from it. We continue to develop concepts for our businesses as well as for clients that have approached us to aid them in their development efforts. Universal Mechanisms is working towards becoming a leader in the Design and Development Industry.
